A lot of us think that we’re not “creative” and so we can’t be very good at marketing. But being creative is easier than you might think and never more so than when you have a tight budget to play with.
Creativity usually comes from thinking laterally and by using a few techniques to get you started the results can be amazing. Follow our guide below and see what you come up with!
- Set a time to sit down with no interruptions and come up with new marketing ideas for the period ahead.
- If you can, get at least one other person involved in your “thinking” meeting and include preferably somebody who isn’t as close to your business as you are.
- Forget what you’ve done before and start with a blank sheet of paper.
- Focus on your target audience and discuss how to get to them, throwing as many ideas as you can into the pot.
- Expand on any ideas that are good, and dismiss those that aren’t.
