MarketingPlanWiz has been developed as a brand by Business Umbrella Ltd., formed in August 2006 to be the hub for a suite of internet sites containing planning tools and tips. They are intended to help home-based businesses, sole traders and small to medium sized businesses with their business planning.

Business Umbrella Ltd was formed by two business professionals who have extensive experience of working with and for small businesses. MarketingPlanWiz is the first site to be launched and the second site, BusinessPlanWiz was released in June 2010.

The company has worked closely with the designer of the web sites, Edward Robertson Ltd (www.edwardrobertson.co.uk), to bring on to the internet an easy-to-use, cost effective and comprehensive way of planning for small businesses.
